Passport Prime shipping dates

Unfortunately, my window has closed for my friend to receive the device to bring to me this October. I have another friend coming down in February for Carnaval. I already changed my shipping address but will need to do again… I appreciate the diligence of putting together this device. In biz and in life, I feel that it is always better to under promise and over deliver. I can’t wait to receive but honestly, this whole thing has been a debacle. With all due respect

I just wanted to kindly ask if there are any updates regarding Passport Prime shipping. Can we still expect to receive our devices this year, or is that unlikely? To be honest, I’m starting to feel a little silly for having to ask again and again. I truly respect the work you’re doing, and I don’t mean to pressure anyone, but a brief update, even if it’s not final, would mean a lot and help me stay confident and excited. As far as I understand, all components and preparations are already in place. So may I ask, what is the actual bottleneck at this point?

This year - yes.

Planning on sending an email update ASAP which will contain a video of @zherbert demoing the onboarding flow, and detailing what’s left to do before we can ship. Following that I’ll also be posting some short videos demoing each application.

TLDR - Polishing the firmware, finalizing Bitcoin wallet functionality and backups, then performing some rigorous testing.

Our CEO Zach shares an update on Passport Prime progress, where we are, what’s next, and how close we are to shipping.

We’re happy to share that things are looking good, and we’re now aiming to start shipping Passport Prime before the end of the year.

Right now, the team is focused on finalizing our KeyOS operating system to begin provisioning the boards at the factory. This includes completing feature additions, squashing bugs, and testing the firmware update process that occurs the first time you connect Passport Prime to Envoy. This ensures your onboarding is as smooth as possible.

You will also start seeing regular software videos from our Head of Experience, Ben ‘QnA’ over the next few weeks. He’ll be sharing short progress videos to show what’s being refined and improved as we get closer to launch.

It’s been a long road, and we can’t thank you enough for sticking with us as we build something this ambitious. We’re close, really close, and we can’t wait to finally get Passport Prime into your hands by end of year.

We sent out an email yesterday reminding people to double check the shipping address on their order confirmation. We appreciate some of you early access customers have been waiting for some time, so might have a new shipping address.

Hi, I just wanted to kindly ask for some clarification. As you mentioned back in late October, we would receive our Passport Prime devices this year. Now the latest message says that shipping is expected to commence before the end of year. I’m wondering: does this still mean that international customers (like me, in Europe) can expect to actually receive their units in December? Or should we rather expect delivery sometime in early 2026?

European orders will be received a little later than domestic shipments, purely due to the fact that we have to first ship them in bulk to our EU distributor in the Netherlands, for them to then be sent on their final leg of the journey to you.

I cannot give definitive date on when you’ll physically receive the unit because there’s a lot of moving parts in making this happen, but we are doing everything we can to ensure it happens as quickly as possible.
