Unable to decode PSBT

  • What are you trying to achieve? Send BTC from my Envoy wallet
    - What steps are you taking to try and achieve this? Open wallet on iOS, click “send”
    - What are you seeing or experiencing to suggest that something is wrong? I am receiving an error “Unable to decode PSBT” at the final step while scanning the QR code displayed on my Foundation Passport
    - What version of Envoy are you using? 2.11(2)
    - Does your query relate to the mobile wallet or a Passport account? Both?

I am attempting to send BTC from one of my accounts listed on Envoy/iOS. I have two accounts, one KYC and one non-KYC. I was able to successfully send all of the funds from the “KYC” account but when trying to send from the “non-KYC” account I receive an error “Unable to decode PSBT” during the final step when scanning the QR code present on the Passport with my phone.

I’m kind of freaking out and sick to my stomach as this is a significant amount of BTC, and I’m afraid something has gone terribly wrong and these coins are lost.

Please help me.

Hey @louminaughty please ignore the previous reply, that was a scammer that we took care of. Every defense we add they find ways to circumvent, but we get better every time.

First of all, don’t worry, those coins are not gone. You are still in control of those coins. The “unable to decode PSBT” is likely a bug when trying to interpret a QR code. It’s like the tires of the car being flat - an annoying inconvenience to get to your destination, but the mechanics of the car are intact and you still have the keys to the car, it’s just a matter of fixing or changing the wheels.
