This week we’re shining a light on @SalvaG who’s built 7 apps for Passport Prime. :eyes:

Here’s what he’s built:
:key: BIP-85 – derive wallets, keys, passwords, and entropy from your existing seed
:memo: Chain Notes – write personal notes into Bitcoin transactions, composed and signed fully offline
:framed_picture: Image Viewer – view photos and animated GIFs entirely on-device
:page_facing_up: PDF Viewer – read PDFs entirely on-device
:locked_with_key: PGP Keychain – create, import, sign, and encrypt with PGP keys using QR
:dollar_banknote: Paper Wallet – generate printable offline Bitcoin paper wallets with seed-recoverable backup keys
:writing_hand: Text Editor – browse device storage and edit text files, fully offline Go

As of v1.4.

You just need the app creator to build an app file and share their publisher certificate.

QnA…is there a plan to allow for a simpler way to install apps on Prime or is this the only planned way?

Yes eventually we plan to have an app store. What that looks like is TBC, but likely something like an F-Droid where we have a curated section where we have done some due diligence, and a third-party section where you can go and grab apps from indy developers.
