Included Files on Foundation Supplied Micro SD Card

There are folders and files pre-saved on the micro SD card that came with the Passport that I recently purchased. Are they needed for any reason? Are they safe? Should I get rid of them or keep them? The folders are named “.fseventsd” and “.Spotlight-V100”. I’m concerned; maybe even a bit paranoid. Helpful advice will be appreciated.

Hey, @Silly.Billy

The folders you’ve mentioned are automatically created by inserting a flash drive into a macOS device, which I guess you made before inserting it into your newely Passport.

That seems strange because I’m on Windows, and I don’t have any Mac devices.
I think that I’ll just delete those files. Thanks.

It will be what Rapidlab says, but from the computer that initializes these cards at our factory. Nothing to worry about.

Thanks
