Favorite Metal Product for Seed Phrases?

Recently bought a Black Seed Ink. I’ve seen some durability tests done on their product and it seems reliable.

I also like checking out other products.

Any recommendations are appreciated.

It sure is! Had no problems throughout several periods of metal stamping for family and myself.

Also going to pass them on to a close friend for their onboarding process. Adoption & community at its finest!

For simplicity and cost, this one also seems hard to beat.

  • Coldbit by a pretty cool Polish lad. They even had Samourai ones with field to save your +paynym available. They are sturdy as heck. High signal right there.
  • Kiboruto, some custom plates designed by CrazyK, SW contributor. Those are made by Brazilian guys, Stackbit.
  • Stackbit is solid as well, of course.

All these three are my go-to, by a long shot. Last but not least, also the SeedPlates through the SeedSigner project. 25x25 QR code plate gang! Haha.

I really like Tinyseed, best one in the market ATM IMHO.

I recommend non-Bitcoin-labeled products like plain metal plates from a hardware store for maximum opsec and plausible deniability.

I agree. While the binary method might not be the easiest, it offers the advantage of being less obvious than a simple word list. Its compact size makes it ideal for discreet storage. :face_in_clouds:
