Hi guys, I am wondering what the general best practices are for backing up a multisig output descriptor and is there anything that would be strongly discouraged?

Hey, firstly thanks for using our new forum!
With the multisig config you can afford to be a little more liberal with your backups. This is because there is of course no private key material in there. The ‘risk’, if compromised, is only one of privacy.
Common options include the encrypted SD backups Passport uses, printed copies offered by the likes of Sparrow or Specter, and some people also choose to store a copy in a personal cloud.
Most people keep one copy with each private key backup.
