My Envoy app is not responding

Many months later, I’m experiencing this issue after updating to v2.0.1

Hey @Security9993, we are aware of an issue causing some users to get stuck at the account sync screen. We have a new build containing a fix for this going through QA as I type. Hoping to have it launched in the next 24 hours (pending store approvals), but as an Android user, you’ll of course be able to download the APK direct from our GitHub as soon as it is available.

Thanks qna but this is different than my " Imported wallet shows 0 balance" post (different Envoy on a different device).
This is exactly like the OP’s image above before loading happens.

You think it stems from the same issue?

We are pretty sure it’s all interlinked and the upcoming release should fix both. We have already submitted to stores and are awaiting approval.

I updated to Envoy 2.02 on an Iphone today and I am getting this screen (actually two different iphones).

Are you using the hot wallet, or only have Passport accounts connected?

only one passport account. no hotwallets.

In that case, can you try uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version?

it says I will lose my data… no risk there?

That’s why I checked if you had a hot wallet. If you only have a connected Passport account, we can reconnect that in 2 mins after reinstalling the app and hopefully getting past the initial screen. @Inceptionally

Ok, I’ve reinstalled it. What next to reconnect my account?

On Passport, go to ‘Manage Account’ > ‘Connect Wallet’ > ‘Envoy’.

On Envoy tap the ‘+’ in the top right corner and choose ‘Set up a Passport’.

Then follow the on screen instructions.
