After performing a full factory reset (`Settings > Advanced > Erase Passport`), the custom/legacy application installed on the device was not wiped. It remained accessible on the hardware even though the master key and system settings were cleared.

Is this expected behavior, or should a full device erase also strip all installed third-party/legacy apps?

Thanks!

Hey @amaurel thank you for the post! Currently, Erase Passport clears the Master Key, PIN, settings, and app data, but leaves installed app packages in place. The application remaining installed doesn’t mean its previous wallet or data survived the erase though.

You can remove installed apps separately under Settings → Apps. Your expectation that a full factory reset would remove those too is understandable however, I will open an internal ticket to look into it.

Thanks!
